being an international jet set journalist (ha) can be exhausting - hence my lack of blogging... anyway so erol told me over twitter that fake blood's remix of sandstorm was killing it in miami... and here it is...

i saw someone had used my knife today. and i'm currently reading twilight which is set in a place called forks. so i started thinking, why aren't there any songs about cutlery?! these are all i could find, and they're from the same freakin' album...

i'm not in love...

working on a real paper and dealing with quite a commute right now, so haven't been very attentive to this part of the internet. for some reason i've only come across this song by sebastien tellier this week. wow. pretty amazing.



other things i've been digging include: gang gang dance - god's money; para one - naissance des pieuvres; fake blood's essential mix; duke dumont's short mix on kissy sellout's radio show, and especially his remix of lotp's bathroom gurgle.

also - the bbc is rocking my world today - north west tonight told a loltastic story of some rogue cows, the one show is talking about the genesis of 10cc's i'm not in love... awesome!

while i'm in the mood

youtube is apparently taking down a load of music videos. till then, enjoy some turn-of-the-millennium funky house.

you blow my mind

my boy thomas had a blog called questionable grammar a while back but the evil blogspot people shut it down. he's back with tonedeaf, where he's posting totally legit links to keep the man happy. these links are well worth checking out - this week he's blogged it up with iud, para one and kid sister. my kind of jams.

meanwhile i'm getting down with buffalo bunch and their mix from rotterdam c. 2003. some messy mixing but the quality of the tunes is unquestionable. solid goldberger has the goods - his is one of those blogs you can never fully appreciate at once. always worth more than a few visits, especially if you're a fan of all things roulé/crydamour. oh and in case you didn't get it the title of this post is a reference to modjo's chillin'...

it's terrible, and not even a beauty. ok that's a bit harsh, but pitchfork's new look is all too bare for my liking. also it's now just pitchfork.com...

going home now

heading to dublin for the weekend to take it easy and catch up with the fam.

so trizzy's infinity +1 is on its way, and he's only gone and dropped an eight minute teaser over here. basically it's a whizz through the whole mix, but even so it's ace. hold on and pocket piano are a match made in heaven. excitement.
